Description
The Empire AI Access Request allows UAlbany faculty, staff, postdocs, and students to request access to Empire AI computing resources for AI research, machine learning training, large-scale data analysis, and related research computing workloads. Empire AI is a consortium of New York’s leading universities established to advance responsible AI research for the public good.
Empire AI includes Alpha, a state-of-the-art AI computing cluster housed at SUNY University at Buffalo, and Beta, a newer AI computing environment featuring NVIDIA DGX GB200 SuperPOD technology. ITS will review requests and route access based on eligibility, project fit, and available Empire AI access paths.
Eligibility
Available to UAlbany faculty, staff, postdocs, and students whose research projects align with Empire AI’s mission of responsible AI research for the public good.
