Research Group Access Change Request

Description

The Research Group Access Change Request allows UAlbany faculty members and principal investigators to add or remove users from an existing research group used to manage access to Research Storage, High Performance Computing (HPC), the AI Supercomputer, and related research computing resources.

This request should be submitted by the faculty sponsor or principal investigator responsible for the research group.

What's Included

• Adding new members to an existing research group.
• Removing members who no longer require access to the research group's resources.
• Updating group membership associated with Research Storage, HPC, the AI Supercomputer, and related research computing environments.
• Processing membership changes for multiple users within the same research group.

What's Not Included

• Creating a new research group or research storage directory. Use the Research Storage Request.
• Requesting initial access to the AI Supercomputer for a new research group. Use the AI Supercomputer Access Request.
• Purchasing additional research storage. Use the Additional Research Storage Purchase Request.
