Service Description
The Workstation Administrative Access Group Request allows University faculty or staff to obtain an Active Directory (AD) group that they can manage to grant administrative access to the workstations they support. This service provides a secure, controlled method for delegating local admin rights to end users while ensuring ITS maintains oversight of workstation security and compliance.

Ability for the Technology Coordinator to manage group membership

What’s Not Included

Administrative access for devices not managed by the requesting distributed IT representative.

Eligibility
University faculty or staff responsible for managing groups of University‑issued workstations.
Requestor Responsibilities

Ensure only appropriate users are added to the administrative access group
