Description

The Other High Performance Computing Support Request allows UAlbany researchers to request general assistance with the university's High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. This includes questions about using the cluster, running computational workloads, installing research software, and other HPC-related support needs not covered by a more specific request form.

What's Included

• General guidance on using the HPC environment and its available computing resources.
• Assistance with SLURM job scheduling, resource requests, and running computational workloads.
• Requests for installation, configuration, or use of research software on the HPC cluster.
• General questions about HPC workflows, computing environments, and available capabilities.
• Other HPC-related assistance not covered by an existing support request.

What's Not Included

• Initial access to the HPC environment. Use the High Performance Computing Access Request.
